Founder + Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer of Hispanicize Media Group, Manny Ruiz is responsible for leading the development and execution of the Company’s long-term strategy by maximizing revenues, achieving profitability and creating shareholder value.

Manny is the visionary and founder of the Hispanicize platforms that include the annual Hispanicize Event, DiMe Media, Hispanic Kitchen, Hispanicize Wire, and the Hispanic PR Blog. Under his direction, the yearly Hispanicize Event has become the nation’s leading event for Latino trendsetters and newsmakers in social media, marketing and entertainment.

Prior to launching Hispanicize, Manny was President of Multicultural Markets and Hispanic PR Wire for PR Newswire. Prior to PR Newswire’s acquisition of Hispanic PR Wire, Hispanic Digital Network and LatinClips in 2008, companies he founded, Ruiz was Chairman and CEO of HispaniMark, the parent company of these three businesses.

Throughout his illustrious 26-year career in the fields of communications, journalism and business, Manny has won numerous national awards and recognitions, including the PRSA Silver Anvil Award of Excellence, the PR Week Health Campaign of the Year, the Pulitzer Prize for Community Service and the Keys to the City of Miami. Manny’s alma mater, Miami-Dade College has also inducted him to its Hall of Fame.

A proud Cuban-American, Manny was born and raised in Miami where he resides with his wife and four children. He has a bachelors of arts degree in history from Florida International University and is passionate about road tripping with his family and about writing film scripts for future film dreams.


Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer of Hispanicize Media Group, Lexi Terrero is responsible for the financial planning of the company and provides leadership and vision to ensure continued growth while achieving profitability and maximizing revenue and oversees the overall business strategy, execution, operations and negotiations of all new business deal opportunities.

With over 20 years of investment, finance, Investor Relations and private equity experience, Lexi embarked on her entrepreneurial journey to being a Co-Founder of Hispanicize and Latina Moms Media, currently DiMe Media. Lexi leverages her extensive finance, operations and legal background to provide the company with expertise to make smart business decisions to position the company for financial success.

As a proud Cuban-American, she lives in New York with her husband and two children. When is not traveling, she is exploring all that New York City has to offer such as theatre, special events, marathon running and is a wannabe foodie.


Senior Vice President & Co-Founder

As Senior Vice President and Executive Producer of Hispanicize Media Group, Katherine Johnson-Gunn is responsible for creating, communicating and implementing the company’s vision and overall marketing and digital strategies to insure the company is competitive and controls market share. In addition she oversees all production of the company’s special events.

As an award-winning Public relations professional with over 9 years experience in Hispanic PR, marketing and journalism, Katherine leverages her expertise to create successful marketing strategies that drive results. In addition, she produces events that are cutting edge and provide a strong impact to the social media community.

As proud Peruvian-American, she lives in Los Angeles with her husband and new baby girl. When she is not writing on her lifestyle blog she is jamming in the indie scene playing music with several bands.


Chief Business Development Officer

As Chief Development Officer of Hispanicize Media Group, Cristy Clavijo-Kish is responsible for providing leadership in developing and executing new business strategies, negotiation and representation of business affairs for DiMe Media’s premium influencer talent, strategic planning for brand campaigns, negotiation of new partnerships and co-produces the annual Tecla Awards nominations and presentation event that culminates Hispanicize week in Miami.

Cristy is an entrepreneur and award-winning marketing, media and communications practitioner with more than 15 years experience and specialization in Hispanic and multicultural community initiatives as well as managing pan-regional brand campaigns for the Latin American market.

She is also the Creator and co-Publisher of Los Tweens & Teens, a bilingual media platform launched in 2011 to engage and support multicultural parents and influencers raising Generation Z- tweens & teens ages 7-17.

Prior to her partnership in HMG, Cristy led PR Newswire’s Multicultural Markets division as senior vice president, a role she was appointed to following the 2008 PR Newswire acquisition of Hispanic PR Wire, LatinClips and Hispanic Digital Network- all companies that she co-founded and spearheaded. She also helped found the Hispanic marketing practice at global public relations agency Porter Novelli.

A New Jersey native of Cuban decent, Cristy is an active Girl Scout Troop leader and volunteers with other community organizations and speaks nationally at conferences. She resides in Miami Shores with her husband and identical twin daughters.


Chief Marketing Officer

As Chief Marketing Officer of Hispanicize Media Group, Angela Sustaita-Ruiz is responsible for leading overall marketing and media strategy, analyzing client data and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth, and maintaining all aspects of the brand image that include creative, marketing communications, client servicing and identifying strategic business partnerships.

An award-winning public relations and marketing expert, Angela has over 15 years experience and specialization in U.S. Hispanic and multicultural marketing. In 2011, she and her partners launched Latina Mom Bloggers, now DiMe Media, to provide a solution for brands wanting to navigate the rapidly evolving, trillion-dollar U.S. Hispanic market via branded media opportunities, brand integrations, and culturally relevant digital marketing campaigns.

A proud Texan of Mexican descent, Angela lives in Miami with her husband and children. When she’s not on one of her adventurous family road trips, you can find her exploring Miami’s food and art scene, going bike riding with her girls, enjoying family movie nights, or trying out the latest Instagram recipes.


Chief Operations Officer

As Chief Operating Officer of Hispanicize Media Group, Piera Garibaldi-Jolly is responsible for providing leadership and vision to ensure continued growth while achieving profitability and maximizing revenue and oversees overall business strategy and planning for new business ventures.

As a lifelong entrepreneur and an award-winning influencer herself and the founder of the popular mom blog,, Piera understood first-hand the power of bringing influencers and brands together to reach consumers in an organic and meaningful way. In 2011, she and her partners launched Latina Mom Bloggers, now DiMe Media, to provide a solution for brands wanting to reach the U.S. Hispanic consumer through culturally relevant and in-language campaigns that not only drive results for brands, but also resonate with their consumers.

Piera was born in Uruguay and is fluent in both Spanish and English. She moved to the U.S. when she was a year old and now lives in Atlanta, Georgia. During her downtime, you will find Piera spending time with her family, trying out a new recipe, drinking a café con leche, devouring a good book, binge watching Netflix shows, or laying on a beach somewhere.
