Style The Scene
For my twelfth Birthday, I wanted to throw a party with a few of my closest friends. The theme would be a runway fashion show where I would dress my friends. How I even knew what a runway was at that age, is still beyond me. I had my friends rehearse walking on the runway for weeks to make sure everything was perfect…. they hated me for it, but I was a perfectionist and had to give the people what they wanted. Because again, I knew what that was at 12 years old.
I’ve dreamt of being a stylist since I was a young girl in Florida, so I packed my bags right after college and moved to the big apple to make my dreams come true. If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere right? Fast forward to 2017, where I’ve had the opportunity to work on some of the most incredible projects including assisting on the set of The Carrie Diaries in New York City!
So I teamed up with Hispanicize and Dime Media this year to create somewhat of a dress code for this year’s scheduled events! It’s really hard to dress for an event when you’ve either never been to a similar event, or don’t know what to expect. So I am here to give you the inside scoop on what you should be looking forward to at this year’s line-up and how to dress for it!
I gathered a few of my favorite content creators and styled them for their best “Hispanicize” look in Miami. We chose outfits that flattered their shape and made them feel comfortable all while feeling like the best version of themselves and when you are attending an event where you want to make strong connections and leave a good impression, feeling like the best version of you is crucial! Just follow my motto: “If you look good, you feel good”.
