Sponsored by Prudential Financial, the Positive Impact Awards aim to recognize Hispanic Americans who do outstanding work in their communities. The awards were created as homage to the late Louis Pagan, co-founder of Hispanicize and well-known social media entrepreneur, who passed away suddenly in February 2013. Louis was widely known for his kindness and commitment to giving the community a voice through his vast social media networks. Since its creation, the Positive Impact Awards have honored 33 outstanding Latinos from all corners of the United States who have dedicated their lives, time and money to ensuring that their communities have access to the resources and support they need to succeed.
