Hispanicize Los Angeles 2018 Expands to Three Days Slated for October 11-13
HMG, the parent company of Hispanicize Events, announced today that Hispanicize Los Angeles 2018 is slated for October 11 – 13th during Hispanic Heritage Month at the Intercontinental Hotel in Century City. The event is expanding from one to three days as a result of social influencer and sponsor demand for a more in-depth experience with a focus on opportunities for Latinos in the tech, entertainment and journalism industries.
HMG Chairman and CEO, Joe Uva, announced that two of HMG’s founders, Katherine Johnson-Gunn and Cristy Clavijo-Kish have been named to lead the Hispanicize Events management team and are responsible for the planning and execution of all Hispanicize events. Both executives will report to Uva. Clavijo-Kish becomes Managing Director, Hispanicize Sponsorship Sales & Brand Partnerships while Johnson-Gunn becomes Managing Director of Hispanicize Event Production & Programming.
“Katherine and Cristy have both played pivotal roles in the incredible success of the Hispanicize events for the past nine years and will work together to provide sponsors and attendees with increased value for many years to come,” said Uva. He added, “I’m very excited about their plans to bring the full-power of HMG’s resources and unparalleled engagement with Millennial and GenZ LatinX consumers to enhance experiences at our events with digital campaigns that will expand opportunities for sponsors and influencers.”
